UtilitEE presented by HYPERTECH at “The next day for Energy Efficiency” workshop

The UtilitEE project was presented at “The Next Day for Energy Efficiency” International Workshop hosted by the ELTRUN E-business research center of the Athens University of Economics and Business on November 7th 2018.  Among the participants were representatives of ten energy efficiency research & innovation projects funded by the EU Horizon 2020 funding scheme. The aim of the workshop was to bring together energy-related H2020 projects, industrial interested parties and policy-makers in a common discussion pertinent to the future of energy efficiency. In particular, during the event the below aspects were discussed and analysed:

  • the required digital technology (IoT, AI) to support the development of innovative services in the energy efficiency area of the built environment

  • the tools to educate and engage the end users towards their behavioral change with regards to energy efficiency

  • the role of utilities and the required innovative services of utilities in a business disruptive world full of challenges and opportunities
